Casa Ojala Patio
about.

about

Casa Ojalá is a house, an art space, a gathering spot, a corner for rest and recollection.

Casa Ojalá holds that sexism, racism, gentrification, colonialism, and capitalism are all interconnected forms of violence and dispossession.

In the midst of all this Casa Ojalá hopes to contribute to the webs of international solidarity being woven through feminist, anti-racist, queer, counter-capitalist, and indigenous movements.

Casa Ojalá has crooked walls that say social and artistic creativity are key to building alternative worlds.

Situated in Los Reyes, Coyoacan, Casa Ojalá is currently collaborating with artist residencies and community organizations in Mexico City to host resident artists, scholars, and activists for a period of stay in Mexico City.

Casa Ojalá supports BDS movement.

Casa Ojalá is started in 2023 by Abou (artist/ anthropologist) and Katayoun (artist/normal employee).
